Shifteh Araye Shargh Holding is one of the largest producers of a wide variety of food products in the country, backed by nearly half a century of experience. Established in 1994 in Mashhad, the company began producing more than 30 types of diverse food products.
Today, a significant portion of the company’s production includes various canned foods, compotes, tomato paste, jams, kashk (fermented whey), honey, pickled vegetables, and salt-pickled products. In this regard, the company has achieved substantial production capacity in the food industry.
From the very beginning, the Holding has prioritized customer satisfaction and international quality standards by leveraging the experience of committed managers, the expertise of specialized personnel in the food processing industry, and the utilization of modern equipment and high-capacity laboratories.
Over the years, in line with its mission to enhance and improve the nation’s food basket, the company has been honored with numerous top awards from the Food and Drug Administration, the National Standards Organization, the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, the Ministry of Agriculture Jihad, and the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, in recognition of its commitment to consumer rights.
Moreover, the use of cutting-edge technology and the finest raw materials has enabled the Holding’s products to secure a significant share of exports to various Asian and European markets, including Iraq, Pakistan, Russia, and Australia—earning it recognition as one of the country’s exemplary exporters.

History
Shifteh Araye Shargh Holding was founded in 1994 by its dedicated and hardworking founder, Mr. Mohammad Shariati Dastjerdan, who started his business from the ground up with unparalleled perseverance and commitment.
However, his economic and commercial activities began long before the official establishment of Shifteh Araye Shargh Agro-Industry Company. These early endeavors included trading orchard and agricultural products in Razavi Khorasan Province and exporting them to various countries.
In the years that followed, his brothers joined the business, and the Holding entered the field of food production. The journey was marked by numerous challenges, including financial difficulties and economic fluctuations that at times brought production close to a halt. Nonetheless, the team’s strong belief and motivation enabled the company to overcome these obstacles and achieve significant milestones.
Even in 2011, amidst severe economic hardship and a difficult market environment, the company made the bold decision to upgrade its machinery and equipment and continue production. Thanks to relentless effort and determination, the Holding remained on its path of growth and expansion.
Eventually, industrial activities were added to the company’s operations, laying the groundwork for what would become the Shifteh Araye Shargh Agro-Industry Holding—an enterprise with decades of history and development behind it.

Today, Shifteh Araye Shargh Holding is proud to operate in the food industry—particularly in the production of compotes and canned goods—with more than 300 full-time employees and 5,000 seasonal workers across various departments.
Our Holding is recognized in the domestic market through its well-established brands Shifteh, Shahdin, and Sweety, and in export markets under the brands Zaegheh, Sadegh, and Sadgol.

With pride, the company delivers healthy, preservative-free products to domestic and international consumers through Shifteh Araye Shargh National Distribution Company, established years ago to facilitate both local and global logistics. Shifteh Araye Shargh Holding continues to expand its production and industrial activities with a forward-looking approach, aiming to enhance both the quality and quantity of its offerings.
In line with this vision, in 2023, the company initiated major expansion plans to complete its industrial supply chain. These include the establishment of a can manufacturing plant, a shrink plastic production facility, and a carton and tray manufacturing plant. Approximately 40% of the production capacity of these new facilities will meet the internal needs of the Holding, while the remainder will be offered to both domestic and international markets. These developments are expected to create employment opportunities for thousands of individuals.
